“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” — Isaiah 1:19 (NKJV)
I’ve learned that surrender often shows up in small moments, when I know what God is asking me to do, and I have to decide if I’ll follow. Sometimes it’s choosing patience. Sometimes it’s letting go of my way. Sometimes it’s doing something simple that no one else will see.
That’s where obedience lives. Surrender means I release control and follow God’s direction, even when it feels small. And I’ve noticed that those quiet decisions matter more than I realize. They shape my heart and keep me moving in step with Him.
When we learn that obedience leads to direction, we see that is how God leads us into what’s good.
Take one step of obedience today, even if it feels small.
Scripture Promise:
“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.” — Luke 11:28 (NKJV)
Prayer:
Lord, help me to walk in obedience. Give me the courage to follow Your direction, even when it’s not easy.
Amen.
