My Beat

November 12, 2017, changed my life.

Some moments define us forever. My wedding was one of them. It was a day filled with joy, promise, and a future I couldn’t wait to live. But losing my husband shortly after became another defining moment, one that broke my heart in ways I didn’t know were possible. Grief has a way of knocking the rhythm right out of you. I wondered if my heart would ever beat the same again.

But God…

In the quiet ache of those nights, He kept whispering one simple word to me: Write. At first, I didn't think I had anything left to say. Then I realized God wasn't asking me to be strong, just to be willing. So I started writing, small reflections at first. They were tiny heartbeats of hope. Then those pieces slowly grew into something bigger. I wrote my first book and published it successfully.

I continued writing and even considered building a website a couple of years back, but as life would have it, things just got in the way. I had lost my rhythm.

But God had not given up on me. He kept whispering to me "write". When I realized I needed to get my rhythm back, NRhythm Devo was born. My love for devotionals paired with this new rhythm I was finding, was my genesis. My pain was about to become proof that God can take what shatters you and turn it into purpose. He took my grief and transformed it into a ministry that encourages others who may feel out of rhythm, reminding them that God is still near, still healing, still speaking.

Behind the beat of NRhythm Devo is this truth:

God can bring good out of what breaks us.

He did it for me.

And He can do it for you too.
