Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! — Psalm 27:14

Life sometimes brings situations where we have little or no control over the outcome. In those moments, this verse reminds me that there is a higher plan at work—one greater than what I can see or manage on my own.

We live in a fast-paced world where waiting feels unproductive, even frustrating. It can seem like wasted time. But waiting on the Lord is not passive. It’s active trust. It’s continuing to work faithfully, pray intentionally, and stay spiritually focused instead of forcing outcomes or giving up altogether.

When we adopt this “wait-on-the-Lord” posture, time doesn’t feel as heavy. It becomes purposeful.

When uncertainty shows up—whether financial strain, health concerns, or unanswered questions, our decisions must be rooted in faith rather than fear. Panic pushes us to rush. Faith teaches us to wait.

Today, take your concerns to God. Lay them before Him honestly. He promises to strengthen your heart, just as He strengthened David’s. Just wait and see.

Scripture Promise:
"
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength." — Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to have courage and trust you in the waiting.

Amen.

Stay in Rhythm. Stay in Grace.
