“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)
I’ve had seasons where waiting felt like nothing was moving at all. Prayers were spoken, steps were taken, and still… things seemed quiet. That kind of waiting tested me more than I expected.
Over time, I began to see that just because I couldn’t see movement didn’t mean God wasn’t working. There were things He was shaping in me. Things like patience, trust, perspective that I might have missed if everything had happened on my timeline.
Waiting doesn’t always feel good, but it’s never empty. God’s timing carries purpose. When I stop trying to rush the outcome and lean into what He’s doing in the process, a quiet peace starts to settle in.If you’re in a waiting season, you’re not alone in it. God is working, even here.
Today, instead of asking God “when,” let’s ask Him, “What are You teaching me in this season?”
Scripture Promise
“"The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord"” — Lamentation 3:25-26.
Prayer
Father, teach me to wait on Your timing and to trust that all thing will work out for my good and Your glory.
