The Rhythm of Trust
DAILY DEVOTIONAL
1/2/2026

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
Trusting God doesn’t come naturally, especially when we can't see what's ahead; but it does grow with practice. Most of us like plans, clarity, and control, yet I’ve learned that faith’s rhythm often invites us to loosen our grip and lean into Him instead. Faith deepens when life feels unpredictable. When plans shift or the path narrows, trust becomes a melody of surrender, one steady note at a time.
I’m learning that trust isn’t the absence of questions; Lord, knows I have many; it’s the decision to place my confidence in God’s character rather than my circumstances. When I stop trying to figure everything out and start acknowledging Him in every step, peace follows. Not because everything suddenly makes sense, but because I remember who is leading me.
Today, let trust cause you to rest in God's faithfulness, to believe that He sees what you cannot and to follow His rhythm even when the path unfolds one step at a time.
Faith Promise:
“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” — Psalm 37:5 (NKJV)
