He Gathered Them From Every Direction - The Lord Redeems and Saves

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy." —PSALM 107:1-2 · NKJV

Four stories. That's what Psalm 107 gives us — wanderers in the desert, prisoners in the dark, the sick brought low by their own choices, sailors caught in a storm they didn't see coming. Four completely different situations. Four very different kinds of desperate. And in every single one, the same thing happens: they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them.

The redeemed of the Lord say so. The testimony is not optional decoration. It is part of the deliverance. When you speak out loud what God has done for you, something happens in the room. Other people find courage. Your own faith deepens. The enemy loses ground.

Your story of wandering and being found — of imprisonment and release, of sickness and restoration, of the storm that nearly took you and the calm that came after, that story belongs to more than just you. Someone nearby is still in one of those four places. They need to hear that the same God who came for you is already moving toward them.

Write down which of the four stories in Psalm 107 resonates most with your life right now — or a season you've already come through. Then tell someone about it today. Even one sentence counts.
