Come in From the Noise - A Call To Worship

"Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand." —Psalm 95:6-7 NKJV

The people are assembling. They've come from different directions, carrying different weeks — some with good news, some with grief, some distracted, some genuinely hungry. The worship leader stands before them and doesn't open with announcements. He opens with an invitation so urgent it sounds almost like a command: Come, let us sing. Come, let us shout. Come, let us bow down. Three times, come. Because getting there — really getting there — requires a choice.

Worship is an act of arrival. You can be in the room without being present. You can sing the words without meaning them. The call in this psalm is to actually show up — to bow down, to kneel, to let your body lead your heart to the place your heart should already be. The posture matters. The choice to come matters.

He is your Maker. You are the sheep of His hand — known, tended, held by Someone who knows the sound of your voice and calls you by name. That is who you are coming to. Don't just show up today. Arrive.

Find a moment today to actually kneel — even briefly, even privately. Let the posture be a declaration: You are God. I am Yours. I am here.
