“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)
Some worries don’t come in loud—they sit quietly in the background, showing up throughout the day in small thoughts and what-ifs. I’ve had those moments where everything looked fine on the outside, but inside, I was still carrying something heavy.
I’ve learned that releasing it isn’t always a one-time decision. Sometimes it looks like noticing when it creeps back in and choosing, again, to place it in God’s hands. Not holding onto it out of habit, but trusting that He actually cares enough to carry it for me.
And every time I do, there’s a little more space for peace to settle in. If something has been weighing on you, you’re not the only one. God sees it, and He’s ready to take it from you..
Let's take a moment today to write down what’s been weighing on us and intentionally give it to God in prayer—choosing to release it, even if we have to do it more than once.
Scripture Promise:
“Be anxious for nothing… and the peace of God… will guard your hearts and minds.” — Philippians 4:6–7
Prayer:
Lord, I release my worries to You. Help me to trust that You care for every detail of my life. Fill my heart with Your peace.
Amen.
