Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
There’s something special about a new beginning, not because it erases the past, but because it reminds me that grace rewrites the story. Every January feels like God gently turning the page, whispering to me, “Let’s start again.”
I’ve learned that His rhythm of grace isn’t one of perfection, and I'm grateful for that. It's about progression. It’s about walking forward, not backward. It’s trusting that the One who began a good work in me will finish it (Philippians 1:6). I don’t have to live in yesterday’s regrets when God’s mercy has already moved me into a new day.
Today, why not pause and consider a new direction. Discover His rhythm for your life in this new year?
Faith Promise:
“Your mercies are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:23 (NKJV)
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for new beginnings. Help me walk boldly into this new year, leaving behind what You’ve already forgiven. May my heart beat in rhythm with Your grace.
Amen.
