GOD WILL SURELY VISIT YOU
"Then Joseph said to his brothers, '...God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.'" — Genesis 50:24
We have walked through a whole book of Scripture together — thirty days from the first breath of creation to the last words of a dying man who never stopped believing. And Joseph's final act was not an accomplishment. It was a declaration. Even on his deathbed, with the bones he asked them to carry home still in him, he pointed forward. God will surely visit you.
He didn't say might. He didn't say hopefully. He said surely. Because Joseph had lived a life that proved it. He had been visited by God in the pit. In the prison. In the palace. In the pain and in the provision. And he knew — the same God who had never left him would never leave the people who came after him.
My friend, we close Genesis where we began — with a God who shows up. Who visits. Who moves. Who keeps His promises across generations, across failure, across exile and wilderness and betrayal and waiting. The God of Genesis is your God today. He has been writing this story long before you arrived in it. And He is not finished. God will surely visit you — in whatever is next, in whatever is hard, in whatever you haven't arrived at yet. He will visit you. Bank on it.
Write a letter to your future self — or to someone who will come after you — about the faithfulness of God that you have witnessed in your own life. Let this be your Genesis 50:24 moment. A declaration left behind that says: God will surely come through for you too.
