GOD WILL PROVIDE THE LAMB

"Abraham answered, 'God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.'" — Genesis 22:8

They climbed the mountain together — father and son, wood on the boy's back, fire in the father's hand, and a silence between them that must have been almost unbearable. Isaac asked the question that hung in the air like smoke: where is the lamb? And Abraham answered from the deepest place in his faith: God will provide.

He didn't know how. He didn't know when. He had the knife in his hand and no lamb in sight. But somewhere in the long journey of walking with God, Abraham had learned something that carried him up that mountain: God has never been late, and He has never left me without what I needed.

My friend, you may be on your own mountain right now — carrying something heavy, facing something that makes no sense, wondering where the provision is. God will provide. Not might. Not hopefully. He will. He already sees what you cannot see. He already has the ram caught in the thicket. He already sent the Lamb — His own Son — so that you would never face your worst moment alone. Whatever you need today, He is already working on it.

Write down your most pressing need today. Under it, write the words from Genesis 22:14: "The Lord Will Provide." Speak it aloud as a declaration of faith, and watch for how He shows up.

Scripture Promise:

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:19

Prayer:

Father, thank you for the mountains that seem insurmountable, and then showing me how they are not. Thank you for being with me on the mountain and for providing what each trial needed. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
