LET THERE BE LIGHT

"And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light." — Genesis 1:3

God didn't flip a switch. He spoke. Three words — and the entire universe responded. There was no hesitation, no delay, no negotiation. When God speaks, things happen. Darkness doesn't argue with the voice of God. It simply yields.

My friend, I wonder what darkness has been sitting in the corners of your life — fear, confusion, grief, doubt. It may have been there so long that it may start to feel permanent. But nothing in your life is permanent except God Himself. He is still speaking. And the same voice that called light out of nothing is calling something new out of your situation right now. The question is not whether God can illuminate what you're walking through. He already has the words formed. The question is whether you'll stop long enough to hear them.

His Word is still a lamp. His presence is still a light. And darkness — no matter how thick — has never once won against Him.

Read Psalm 119:105 slowly today. Identify one area where you've been navigating in the dark. Ask God to speak His Word specifically into that space.

Scripture Promise:

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." — Psalm 119:105

Prayer:

Father, thank you for bringing light into my dark world. May your word continue to be a light unto my feet and a light unto my path. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
