IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?

"Is anything too hard for the Lord?" — Genesis 18:14

Sarah was inside the tent, and she was listening. Three visitors had come to Abraham, and one of them — the Lord Himself — spoke a promise that made her laugh. Not a joyful laugh. A disbelieving one. She was ninety years old. Abraham was a hundred. The idea of a child wasn't just unlikely; it was absurd. And so she laughed.

And God heard her. He always does. Is anything too hard for the Lord? It wasn't an accusation. I see it as an invitation. A gentle, powerful, patient invitation to reconsider what she believed was possible.

My friend, what have you quietly laughed at in your heart? What prayer have you stopped praying because the window seemed closed? What promise have you mentally buried because the math didn't add up? God is asking you the same question He asked Sarah: Is anything too hard for Me? He did say is anything to likely or to logical. Nor did He ask is anything to comfortable or conventional for me. He asked, is it too hard for Me?

The answer, for everything you are carrying today, is no.

Write down the one thing you've stopped believing God can do. Then write the question — Is anything too hard for the Lord? — next to it. Spend five minutes in prayer, inviting God back into that space.

SCRIPTURE PROMISE

"I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" — Jeremiah 32:27

Prayer:

Father, I know there are times I encounter obstacles that I think are too hard for you to move. As I remember this story, Lord help me to believe that you are more than able to do just what you said you will do. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
