· In The Beginning, There Was A Beat

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." — Genesis 1:1

Before the first sunrise, before the first breath of wind across the water, there was God — and God had a plan. Creation didn't happen by accident. Every star was placed. Every ocean was measured. Every living thing was called into being by a voice that has never once gone silent. My friend, that same creative God who spoke light into darkness is still speaking over your life today. You are not a random occurrence. You are not a mistake. You were made on purpose, by a God who had you in mind before the foundation of the world.

If your life feels chaotic right now — if it feels like there's more darkness than light — remember: God does some of His best work in the middle of "without form and void." He doesn't wait for things to be perfect before He begins. He starts right there in the mess, and He makes something beautiful

Take five minutes today to sit in silence and simply say, "God, you were here before my beginning, and you are here now." Write down one area of your life that feels like chaos — and offer it to the Creator.

Scripture Promise:

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." — Ephesians 2:10

Prayer:

Father, thank you for all of your creation. Thank you for making me in your image. When the things around me and the things in my life feel like chaos, remind me that you spoke order into a place without form and void and you can do the same in my life. In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen
