"Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." — James 2:7 (NKJV)
Have you ever said you believed something, but your actions didn’t quite reflect it? Faith was never meant to be passive.
James reminds us that real faith moves. It shows up in the choices we make, the kindness we extend, and the obedience we practice each day. Faith is not just something we say we have—it’s something we live out.
When we trust God, our actions begin to reflect that trust. We forgive when it’s hard, give when it’s inconvenient, and step forward even when we cannot see the full path. Active faith demonstrates that we truly believe God is working in and through us.
Today, look for one opportunity to put your faith into action. Whether it’s showing love, offering help, or taking a step of obedience, let your faith be seen through what you do.
Scripture Promise:
"if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." — Matthew 17:20 (NKJV)
Prayer:
Father, help my faith show up in action.
Amen.
