The Rhythm of Faith over Fear

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Fear may speak loudly, but faith speaks truth. I'm reminded of the time when Elisha and his servant were surrounded by the Syrian army. While the servant exhibited the spirit of fear, Elisha had no such fear. He had lived in the power of God, and that day was no different. His words to his servant were "do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Elisha saw the armies of the living God, ready for battle against the Syrian army. What might we be missing if our spiritual eyes are closed?

Today, ask God to give you spiritual eyes to see the victory has already won on your behalf. Believe what God says over what fear suggests.

Scripture Promise:
Fear not, for I am with you. I will uphold. you with My righteous right hand." — Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)

Prayer:
Father, quiet my fear and increase my faith. Remind me You are still in control.
