"Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, ‘Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?’" — Mark 4:39–40 (NKJV)
Have you ever felt like the storms of life were coming faster than you could steady yourself? In moments like that, fear can rise quickly.
When the disciples faced the raging storm, they thought they were about to perish, even though Jesus was in the boat with them. The storm tested their faith, but it also revealed something important: the One who had power over the storm was already with them.
Storms have a way of exposing what we truly believe. They test our faith, but they also remind us who stands in our boat. When Jesus speaks, even the wind and waves must obey. The presence of God doesn’t always prevent storms, but it assures us we are never facing them alone.
The next time you face a storm, pause before fear takes over. Remember who is in your boat. Bring your worries to God in prayer and trust that His voice still speaks peace into every storm
Scripture Promise:
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. — Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV)

Father, when winds rise, anchor my heart and trust in You.
