"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry." — Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV)
Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of faith. When God places a vision or promise in our hearts, we often hope to see it unfold quickly. But God’s timing rarely follows our schedule.
Habakkuk reminds us that God’s promises unfold at an appointed time. What may seem delayed is still moving according to His perfect plan. I've learned delay does not mean denied. God is often working behind the scenes, preparing circumstances and shaping our hearts for what is to come.
Mature faith learns to trust God not only in the promise, but also in the waiting. In time, what God has spoken will reveal itself.
If you are waiting on something God has placed in your heart, don’t lose hope. Continue to trust Him today. Stay faithful, keep praying, and remember—delay does not mean denied.
Scripture Promise:
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him." — Lamentations 3:25 (NKJV)
Prayer:
Father, help me to trust you completely and patiently wait on Your timing.
Amen.
