"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." — Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV)
God never asks us to whisper our prayers timidly. He invites us to come to Him openly and honestly.
In Jeremiah 33:3, God extends a powerful promise. When we call to Him, He will answer and reveal things beyond our understanding. Too often we limit our prayers because we assume our requests are too big, too small, or too complicated. But God is not intimidated by our questions or our needs. He welcomes bold faith.
Just like we ask our earthly father for good gifts, we can also ask our Heavenly Father for good gifts. He delights in giving His children the desires of their hearts.
Today, bring one request to God that you may have been hesitant to pray about. Ask boldly, trusting that God hears you and is able to work in ways greater than you can imagine.
Scripture Promise:
"Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart." — Psalm 37:4 (NKJV)
Prayer:
Father, increase my expectation in prayer. Teach me how to ask according to your ability and not my limited human understanding.
Amen.
