"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
There’s a moment when you realize you don’t have to carry who you used to be into who you’re becoming.
In Christ, you are made new. Not a slightly improved version of your old self—completely renewed. The past no longer defines you, and the weight of old mistakes no longer has the final say. God has given you a new identity, one rooted in His grace and truth.
Living in that identity takes courage. It means choosing to believe what God says about you, even when old thoughts try to resurface. It means walking forward with confidence, knowing you’ve been made new for a purpose.
You don’t have to shrink back. You can live boldly in who God has called you to be.
Take a moment today to remind yourself of who you are in Christ. Let go of one old mindset or label, and choose to walk boldly in your new identity, trusting God to lead you forward.
Scripture Promise:
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. 2:10 – Created for good works. — Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
Prayer:
Father, help me walk confidently in who You say I am.
Amen.
Stay in Rhythm. Stay in Grace.
